How it works

How it works

Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) is the standard protocol for transmitting voice phone calls over the Internet (VoIP).

This technology means your business can make local, interstate and overseas telephone calls to both landlines and mobiles over your broadband network connection.

NetSIP services:

  • can be used with your current broadband Internet provider, or
  • we can set up a dedicated private circuit for you to optimise voice call quality and reliability.

Our equipment and servers are located in Australia, which means our team of experts can respond quickly to all your service and technical needs.

Use your existing PBX

NetSIP can provide a gateway to interface with your existing PBX. You get the benefit of call savings, while minimising capital outlay and reducing installation time!

With a new PBX

NetSIP through its partners can recommend a compatible PBX solution to suit every business’ need.

Dedicated private circuits

A NetSIP dedicated private circuit gives us better control over voice quality from our voice switches to your IP PBX. NetSIP is one of the first VoIP companies to recommend and supply a dedicated private circuit for optimal voice quality.

We do this by applying outbound Quality of Service (QoS) metrics across our network to ensure that your voice traffic has absolute priority. We only use high quality Cisco routers, which we pre-configure prior to installation.
